TUITION
Tuition must be paid in full by the “Tuition Due Date” to avoid a $15 late fee per student.

STUDENT SUPPORT PROVIDED BY STANFORD
CMS has a limited number of student support awards available to assist families in need. Eligibility for student support awards (100%, 75%, 50% and 25% off tuition/fees) are determined by gross household income and number of household members. Student support awards are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and are funded as long as there are available resources. To receive student support information and application, please call the CMS office at 901.678.4244.

TUITION DISCOUNTS
Discounts apply only to private lessons, ensemble or class tuition. Other fees such as: housing, meals, parking permit, CMS tote bag, CMS t-shirt, two payment plan fee, and late fee must be paid in full. Only one discount per person.

Senior Citizens (60+) Discount: 10%
U of M Employee/Dependent Discount:  5%

ATTENDANCE/MAKE-UP POLICY:
Students are expected to be present at each class, lesson and/or camp. Lessons will not be made up if cancelled by a student nor will there be an adjustment made to tuition. Lessons will be made up if the teacher cancels a lesson.

Withdrawals
Tuition will be refunded in full only if illness or other conditions prevent the teacher from teaching or if a student’s enrollment is rejected by the University for any other reason. If a student withdraws prior to the beginning of the semester (or camp), a refund of tuition, less $30 ($50 for Memphis Music Camp and $60 for Memphis Suzuki Institute), will be made. No refunds, full or partial, will be made after the official start of the semester (or camp).

CAMP/INSTITUTE REGISTRATION FEE
In order to guarantee camp placement, a non-refundable fee of $30 (Memphis Music Camp $50, Memphis Suzuki Institute $60) must be received at the time of registration.

Building Use
All CMS students must be taught at the University or an approved satellite location. Due to insurance purposes, teachers may not teach CMS students in their homes.

Parking
All vehicles parked in General Parking on the U of M Campus before 7:00 p.m. must display a parking hangtag. Hangtags are available for $20 at the Parking Office, 505 Zach Curlin St. Parking is also available in the Deloach parking garage (behind CCFA building) for $1/hr. Parking decals are not required at South Campus Building 2 (Suzuki Strings and Kindermusik®), Lane Music, Memphis Music, St. John’s and GPAC.
