The Collaborative Arts Studies holds a distinguished and active place at the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music. Presently directed by Dr. Victor Santiago Asuncion, acclaimed collaborative pianist to musicians such as Lynn Harrell, Cho-Liang Lin and Kallen Esperian, the programs offer one of the most comprehensive and challenging curriculum in the United States. Members of the resident ensembles - Ceruti String Quartet, Memphis Brass Quintet and PRIZM - are joined by the esteemed vocal and opera studies faculty to provide coachings and a complete musical education needed by 21st century collaborative artists in order to succeed.
Master and Doctorate degrees are offered in Performance with a concentration in Collaborative Piano.
