Faculty Jazz Players
Dr. David Spencer - trumpet/flugelhorn Dr. Jack Cooper - saxes/woodwinds Mr. Chris Parker- piano Mr. Tim Goodwin - bass Mr. Karlton Scott - drums The Faculty Jazz Players regularly perform at the University of Memphis, the U of M "Jazz Week," and at other venues in the Mid-South region. The group has recently performed with internationally known vocalists Joyce Cobb and Roseanna Vitro. The repertoire the ensemble performs consists of their own original works as well as repertoire from groups such as Art Blakey, Charlie Parker/Dizzy Gillespie, Clifford Brown/Max Roach and others.
