The Memphis Singers Workshop is a comprehensive academic opportunity for the emerging young singer preparing to enter a collegiate music program.
Enrollment in the workshop is open to juniors and seniors in high school, and to collegiate transfer students
The day will consist of performance masterclasses, individual lessons with University of Memphis faculty, introduction to degree programs in music, and performances by university faculty and students.
There will also be opportunities to tour the University and School of Music, as well as meet with current School of Music faculty members and current students.
Friday evening at 7:30 pm the School of Music will present their annual fall opera. Up to two free tickets will be available to those involved in the workshop.
